Bank Organizers Receive Approval from Federal Reserve to Begin Operations
EVANSVILLE, Ind.: May 22, 2006: Evansville Commerce Bank has received approval from the Federal Reserve to open its doors as a full service community bank according to Tom Austerman, president and CEO of the bank.
"Everything is lined up for the official opening of Evansville's newest community bank," said Austerman. "We received our approval from the Federal Reserve on May 12 and at this point, we're targeting Tuesday, May 30 as the day we officially open for business.
"This has been an exciting process and the organizing directors and bank staff have been enthusiastic and tenacious each step of the way," added Austerman. "Plus, we're energized by the fact that the response from our shareholders and the community in general has been extraordinary. We are ready to go."
Evansville Commerce Bank is located at 20 N.W 4th Street in the Hulman Building and will offer a full range of commercial, consumer and wealth management services to owners and managers of small to medium-sized business, commercial real estate professionals and local residents in the greater Evansville area. Additional services include Internet banking, an ATM, a drive-up window and courier service for business clients and their employees.
